This expert-level position is tasked with transforming the organizational culture through upskilling and the gradual implementation of predictive and prescriptive analytics, ensuring that data systems are fit-for-purpose and deliver measurable value. By leading cross‑functional teams and collaborating closely with IT and senior stakeholders, the Director translates real‑time analysis into actionable insights that drive customer experience and link engagement directly to business success.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee data analytics and dashboards, translating technical findings into actionable recommendations for senior business leaders.
  • Predictive Evolution: Spearhead the gradual implementation of predictive and prescriptive analytics to move the business toward forward‑looking insights.
  • System Design & Deployment: Collaborate with IT to design and deploy fit‑for‑purpose quantitative analytics systems that deliver tangible business impact.
  • KPI Ownership: Lead the definition, enhancement, and tracking of high‑level business KPIs to ensure organizational alignment.
  • Work with Global/Local marketing teams to understand and respond to their needs/business questions and how data and analytics can answer them.
  • Data Sourcing & Integration - Proactively identify and source new data sets to complement existing intelligence and anticipate market changes.
  • Drive a data‑driven culture by enabling and upskilling the organization through training and cross‑functional engagement.
  • Workflow Prioritization: Assess and scope incoming requests to the department to ensure the team’s workflow is prioritized against the highest‑value projects.
  • Governance & Compliance - Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure all data usage adheres to internal frameworks and external regulatory requirements.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Take full ownership of the department’s financial resources, including mid‑year and year‑end consolidated budget presentations.

  • Agile Methodology: In‑depth experience applying Agile principles to data projects and co‑creating functional/technical requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional soft skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and work effectively with "lean" or ambiguous briefs.
  • Business Intelligence: Strong grasp of BI terminology, including data integration and the creation of complex data models.
  • Strategic Mindset: Highly analytical and solution‑oriented, with the ability to identify business opportunities beyond the specific questions asked.
  • Communication Style: A clear, engaging presentation style that simplifies complex analytics for diverse audiences.
