Job description

Manpower UK are recruiting on behalf of our reputable environmental service client for a Data Entry (Commercial Analyst) working on site at our client's Darlington depot.

As the Commercial Analyst, you will assist in reporting on commercial and operational performance for the Northeast Office by analysing data, identifying trends, and presenting feedback to the Senior Management Team. You should strive to improve current processes and introduce efficiencies with a view to help our client remain competitive in the business market.

Candidates must have high accuracy when keying data and ideally have experience working within a data entry, accounts, or financial role. Confident using Excel is essential.

More About The Role

  1. Integrating daily job completion reports, creating daily valuation sheets, uploading job sheets to the client, pricing valuations, and entering onto the client's system for submission.
  2. Managing correspondence within the Commercial Department and dealing with enquiries as appropriate.
  3. Performing analysis of daily job completion data and generating weekly reports showing commercial performance for the Northeast Office, presenting this information at team meetings.
  4. Investigating pricing queries raised by the client and ensuring prompt responses, monitoring trends to identify areas of improvement to Commercial Team systems and processes.
  5. Providing commercial support for managers and communicating with Team Members and Engineers as necessary.
About You

  1. Experience working in finance or accounts is advantageous.
  2. Adept at working with data.
  3. Proactive and commercial approach.
  4. Understanding how to present meaningful data.
  5. Strong Excel skills are essential.
