To achieve this, we have launched the Finance Data and Analytics Team, aiming to move beyond traditional reporting methods towards modern, innovative technology. • Build cross-functional relationships with other Data and Analytics teams such as Data Science and Insights to best understand their data needs and those of the wider business, enabling Data Engineering to deliver on those needs.
  • Work with Product Owners to understand data requirements for building products.
  • Oversee the migration of Finance CoE data assets to the Azure Data Lake.
  • Drive the creation of reusable and strategic data pipelines to facilitate efficient access and utilisation of Finance CoE data assets by the broader delivery teams.
  • Manage the development of standardised reports through appropriate data pipelines.
  • Support local stakeholders with communication and knowledge management strategy to educate and ultimately empower consumers of data on the governance policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with peers across business to deliver inputs to the overarching data strategy and communicate the same through various medium.
