Job summary

Eutopia Solutions Limited is partnering to recruit a newly created Data Engineering Manager position. This hands-on data engineering leader will own the data function, lead a team of Data Engineers and Data Analysts, and own the platform roadmap.

You'll split ~60% hands-on engineering and ~40% leadership, design data pipelines, optimise data warehouses, and drive best practices across SQL, Python, and Azure, while engaging with senior stakeholders to deliver data-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering leadership experience.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills.
• Experience working in Azure environments.
• Previous team leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Data Engineers and Data Analysts.
• Own the data engineering function, platform roadmap, and delivery priorities.
• Design, build, and optimise data pipelines, integrations, and warehouse solutions.
• Drive best practice across SQL, Python, data modelling, and engineering standards.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Lead data quality, monitoring, and observability initiatives.
