Overview: Looking for a challenge in a FTSE 100 logistics organisation? Join as Data Engineering Lead within the Digital and Information team, leading data product delivery and operations to support a major data infrastructure modernization project.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines and architectures.
2. Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering collaboration and excellence.
3. Prioritize and manage demand for data engineering resources aligned with business goals.
4. Monitor project progress, addressing issues and risks proactively.
5. Collaborate with Analytics Leads, Data Architects, and the wider team for seamless data solutions.
6. Develop data operations capabilities to ensure system reliability.
7. Promote adoption of cloud technologies and modern data engineering practices.

Person Specification:

Skills:

• Expertise in SQL, database performance tuning, and data warehousing.
