Job summary

Procter & Gamble is seeking a Data Engineering Intern in the UK who will scope and execute end-to-end data engineering work, gathering requirements and building pipelines to solve real business problems.

You'll collaborate with stakeholders across levels to ensure reliable, scalable solutions, combining data skills with business understanding and strong communication. From day one you'll contribute to ETL design, data quality, and analytics enablement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree completed or in progress.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Core statistics knowledge (probability basics, sampling, confidence intervals).
• Understanding of regression and classification fundamentals.
• Cloud basics; Databricks experience valued; Power BI or similar reporting tools valued.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL pipelines.
• Implement data quality and validation processes.
• Contribute to data model design.
• Document solutions, patterns, and standards
• Statistical data profiling (distributions, outliers, missingness).
• Help design basic experiments / A/B tests and interpret results.
• Monitor pipeline and model performance (latency, data drift, metric stability).
• Plan, track, and communicate progress on assigned deliverables.
