Vodafone in Newbury is seeking a Data Engineering & Analytics Manager to lead the delivery of reliable, scalable data products powering operational insight.

You will manage end-to-end data pipelines, dashboards and data models, align engineering work with business priorities, coach a team of data engineers and analysts, and champion data quality, governance and automation in a fast-paced telecoms environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data engineering and analytics in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern data architectures and data governance.
• Proven ability to lead engineering backlogs and deliver data products on time.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build and optimisation of data pipelines and analytics products.
• Ensure data engineering aligns with architectural direction and standards.
• Own and manage engineering and analytics backlog and priorities.
• Oversee dashboards, data models and timely business metrics.
• Drive data asset reliability and monitor SLAs for critical datasets.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of data engineers/analysts.
• Embed data quality, metadata and lineage into engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into work packages.
• Support analytics, automation and AI readiness with production-ready datasets.
