Job summary

SDG Group UK is seeking a Data Consultant to join the Milton Keynes team. You will deliver data consulting, build ETL/ELT pipelines, and support data architecture on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake). You will analyze and design data solutions in BI and Big Data, with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of data experience, strong SQL/Python/Spark skills, data modelling knowledge, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing data warehouses, data lakes or data lakehouses.
• Proven ability with SQL, Python or Spark to process and model data.
• 3+ years of data engineering/analytics work delivering data solutions.
• Strong data integration and performance optimization knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class data consulting services to clients.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for data projects.
• Support data architecture design and cloud platform guidance (Azure, AWS, Snowflake).
• Develop data engineering solutions within BI/Big Data domains.
• Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, and maintain quality outputs.
