Job Description:

Overview: We are seeking a Data Engineer with over 7 years of experience in C# .NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS, preferably with banking systems experience, particularly Core Banking.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver systems to automate and streamline processes for various departments.
• Support internal IT with software upgrades and changes.
• Act as the primary technical contact for in-house systems and interfaces.
• Analyze issues related to core banking systems, SharePoint, and other applications.
• Support budgeting and financial planning data processes.
• Build data flows within SQL using SSIS and SSAS.
• Integrate SharePoint and Forms with legacy systems like Equation for automation.
• Utilize web services and data connectivity layers like ODBC, ADO.net.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree qualification.
• Experience with software analysis, design, and development.
• Proficiency in SQL Server query language, SSIS, and data warehouse concepts (Inmon or Kimball).
• Solid experience with C# .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
• Experience in building data warehouses and using SSIS.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance policies.

Additional Details: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a salary range of circa £55K - £70K. The role is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days in the office weekly. Please send your CV in Word format, including your salary expectations and availability.
