Job Description:

As a data engineer, you will have experience in an IT Business Intelligence role, be an excellent communicator, possess strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business requirements and identify the most appropriate BI solution.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Talend Studio 8 ETL developer, including TMS or TAC cloud management
• Proficient SQL skills using MS SQL Server management tools
• Proficient in Power BI, including MS SQL Server BI stack, Power Query, Power BI, and DAX
• Design, develop, and deploy Talend ETL datasets, transformations, and data loading to MSSQL Server
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications

Optional Skills:

• SAP Data Services
• SAP BW
• Oracle SQL Server Management

Personal Characteristics:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Innovative and conceptual thinker
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team player with influencing and motivating abilities
• Must be eligible for MoD SC clearance
