Job summary

MRP Global is seeking a Data Engineer for a long-term engagement in the West Midlands. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days onsite, and focuses on Talend ETL development and Oracle RDS. SC clearance is preferred, with BPSS acceptable to start while clearance is progressed.

The team will work on enhancing data solutions, debugging defects, and supporting testing, releases, and warranty activities, with collaboration across junior engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Talend ETL jobs
• Develop Oracle SQL and DDL
• Enhance GitLab pipelines
• Investigate and resolve defects
• Support testing, production releases and warranty activities
• Create test data and component test packs
• Support performance testing and QA activities
• Review code and mentor junior engineers
