CACI Ltd is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and maintain robust data pipelines for public sector analytics and decision-making. You will collaborate with clients to ensure data accuracy, availability and performance while shaping the engineering roadmap and adopting emerging technologies.
The role supports multiple cloud environments and requires working across offices or from home, with occasional travel and a UK-wide footprint.
We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist technical consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems. Due to some exciting growth within our business, we are interested in speaking with an experienced Data Engineer to join us.
You can work from any of our 5 offices in the UK (including Bristol, Cheltenham & London) or from home, you decide. The role will involve occasional travel to meet customers.
As a Data Engineer at CACI IIG, you join a community of dedicated engineers who deliver cutting edge solutions for our public sector customers across Central Government, Defence, National Security and Critical National Infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with our clients to design and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines that guarantee data availability, accuracy, and performance for analytics and operational decision-making. In addition, you’ll help shape the data engineering roadmap by driving research, defining technical strategy, aligning with business priorities, and influencing key decisions.
This role will be focussed on the delivery of high priority projects where you will be supporting our customers across the full project lifecycle from initiation to conclusion. Working with a broad range of technical tools, you will be support with compliance to data governance, standards and qualify frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a background of working with industry best practices for data management, security, scalability, and awareness of Data Standards, Interoperability, Data Governance, and Data Sharing across security domains. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys problem-solving, and has a collaborative mindset.

Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
