Searchability NS&D in London is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to join a growing public sector technology consultancy delivering digital, data and technology transformation across central government. You’ll tackle complex engineering challenges, building modern data platforms that impact how public services are delivered.

You’ll apply Python, AWS and CI/CD practices to deliver batch and streaming ETL/ELT solutions, implement IaC and DataOps, and provide technical leadership and mentoring

Qualifications

• Experience in Python, AWS/Azure, Git, CI/CD, ETL/ELT and data pipelines.
• Proficiency with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as PyTest and production-grade deployments.

• Build and maintain scalable data platforms, pipelines and services.
• Develop robust Python-based data solutions using modern engineering practices.
• Deliver batch, streaming, ETL/ELT and data transformation solutions.

• Up to £75k DoE + 6% pension, 30 days leave
