Job summary

Ki Insurance is building a cutting-edge data platform to monitor the commercial performance of its algorithmically underwritten insurance business in real time. You will join an agile squad, collaborating with actuaries, data scientists and engineers to design, build and optimise production-grade data pipelines feeding the Ki algorithm and its analytics platforms.

The role emphasises hands-on data modelling, ETL/ELT, and modern cloud-based data solutions across GCP/AWS, with strong Python API

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software engineering with Python for API development and data engineering.
• Experience designing and maintaining production-grade data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL and BigQuery.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, optimise and maintain production-grade data pipelines to feed Ki's algorithm.
• Collaborate with actuaries, data scientists and engineers to leverage new data sources.
• Design data models and supporting infrastructure for growth and scale.
• Create frameworks and systems to manage Ki’s data assets.
• Develop data and MLOps capability infrastructure with the engineering community.
