Job Description:

Data Engineer | Python | ETL | Spark | Databases | Snowflake | AWS | Hybrid, London

Overview

Today’s internet is misaligned with its users. At best one-size-fits-all and static, it’s at worst

adversarial. We’re building AI-powered tools to create new digital experiences that are

fundamentally aligned with each person’s goals, needs, and values. In this new human-aligned

internet, generative user interfaces will augment our capacity for discovery, understanding, and

expression by learning from and responding to users in real time.

We’re powering these experiences with our bespoke foundation model, enabling intelligent,

highly personalized user experiences for every piece of software on the planet, while ensuring

full transparency and user control.

Founded by a world-class team (ex-DeepMind / Oxford / UCL), we’re well funded and rapidly

scaling our modeling efforts and product deployments.

Headquartered in London, we’re seeking brilliant, ambitious individuals who share our vision of

transforming user interfaces into adaptive, intuitive, and empowering experiences. We’re

looking for self-starters who can define and own their lanes in a fast-paced, high-growth

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Collaborate with both data providers (our enterprise customers) and consumers (our

model training team) to understand needs and deliver solutions.

• Implement data cleaning pipelines that interact with model training.

• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security.

• Develop and implement data warehousing and data lake solutions.

• Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Data work.

• Strong proficiency in leading big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive).

• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus

• Experience working across the complete data stack.

• Experience in and appetite for working in small, rapidly growing companies or projects.

What We Offer

• Enormous opportunities to define and own your lane.
