Job summary

Prima is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Engineering team and help shape the future of motor insurance through scalable data products and pipelines. You will bridge machine learning, data science and engineering to publish, publish, and maintain data assets that drive Prima’s growth.

You will collaborate with over 300 engineers across software development, infrastructure, operations and security, embracing experimentation and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Shaping the architecture of data products designed for data analytics and data science focusing on forecasting, feature engineering, customer behaviour, and data source integration.
• Leading data transformation by setting up best practices in data modelling, performance optimisation, Data Governance to ensure data is consistent, available and reliable.
• Build reusable technology that enables teams to ingest, store, transform, and serve their own data products.
• Engaging with data scientists and ML engineers to refine data requirements for enhanced data infrastructure.
