Overview

Data Engineer — Location: London - 5 Days a week
Type: Permanent

We're looking for a sharp, curious, and proactive Data Engineer with a strong foundation in building production-grade data systems. This role will suit someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving complex problems, and enjoys transforming raw data into high-impact analytics and intelligent systems. You\'ll work across the full data lifecycle — from designing ELT pipelines and integrating semantic layers with LLM tooling, to developing clean, scalable infrastructure that powers customer-facing insights.

What You'll Do

• Design and build reliable, scalable systems supporting complex integrations (e.g., PMS and Payments), internal tooling, and data workflows.
• Own projects end-to-end - from concept through to deployment - delivering fast, production-grade solutions that balance technical rigor with speed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, commercial, and client teams to ensure engineering efforts align with strategic business objectives.
• Drive quality by applying strong engineering principles, writing clean, maintainable code, and continuously refining development processes.
• Develop and optimize SQL data pipelines using dbt and manage data transformations within modern data warehouse environments.

Your Experience

• 2-3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, building and maintaining production-grade systems.
• Strong skills in data transformation, ELT pipeline design, and cloud-based data warehousing.
• Proven ability to deliver fast, clean, and scalable data solutions in agile environments.
• Experience working with LLM tools (Google Vertex, Azure AI Foundry, OCR) is highly advantageous.
• Bonus points for experience in fintech or healthcare
