Job summary

What’s Possible Group is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines and data solutions within our dynamic media activation team. You’ll ensure data integrity across Azure, AWS and GCP, write SQL queries for bespoke reports, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver marketing intelligence for clients.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of full-time Python and SQL experience.
• Experience working in a media agency, or with media and marketing data (digital and non-digital).
• Experience and understanding of how APIs extract data from various platforms.
• Experience briefing, designing and implementing ETL solutions end-to-end.
• Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Prefect) and building scalable data pipelines.
• Strong Git and collaborative development skills (e.g. GitHub, GitLab).
• Strong understanding of data fundamentals: MDM, data integrity, auditing, automated validation.
• Cloud DevOps experience (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Ability to translate business and data needs into technical requirements and communicate in non-technical language.
• Back-end development for visualization dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Datorama); Adverity experience valuable.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of new and existing ETL pipelines and data engineering projects for the agency and wider group.
• Collaborate with media teams and partners to ensure data is available and interpretable across the business.
• Provide client-facing onboarding and troubleshooting for data solutions.
• Shape the evolution of the data ecosystem and contribute to product design and architecture discussions.
• Manage DevOps tasks and cloud infrastructure to support data solutions.
• Ensure data governance and security practices across the ecosystem.
• Be an internal champion for data solutions and drive adoption across teams.
• Work with colleagues, suppliers and clients to deliver to established standards.
