Job summary

Voyage Care Ltd is recruiting a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will ensure governed data is available for reporting and analytics and work closely with data engineers, BI developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.

The role focuses on end-to-end data delivery, data modelling, and optimising SQL transformations, with opportunities to collaborate across the business and implement strong

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL skills with data modelling and optimisation.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD practices and Agile delivery methods.
• Understanding of data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop scalable data models and optimised SQL transformations.
• Monitor and improve data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Deliver technical data projects from concept to production.
• Enhance the Azure data platform using Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL.
• Implement data security and governance controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and data standards.
