Job summary

Voyage Care in the UK is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team in a hybrid role based in Lichfield. You will design, build and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure, ensuring high-quality, governed data for reporting and analytics.

You'll collaborate with data engineers, BI developers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions, improve data quality and performance, and deliver projects from concept to production, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering production-grade data engineering solutions.
• Strong Azure data platform expertise (Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics).
• Advanced SQL skills including data modelling and optimisation.
• Experience using Python for data processing and automation.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD practices, and Agile delivery methods.
• Understanding of data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to manage priorities, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on Data Engineer who enjoys taking ownership and delivering end‑to‑end solutions. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines on the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring high‑quality, governed data is available for reporting and analytics.

Working closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and stakeholders across the business, you'll translate requirements into scalable technical solutions while driving improvements across our data platform.

Essential Skills & Experience
