We are actively seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic reporting and analytics team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about data, demonstrates strong autonomy, and has deep expertise in the design, creation, and management of large and complex data pipelines.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes
  2. Create scalable data models and data architectures
  3. Drive best practices for data engineering, testing, and documentation
  4. Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance standards are met
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data-driven solutions
  6. Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 5+ years of data engineering experience
  2. Experience with SQL
  3. Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  4. Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
  5. Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
  2. Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
  3. Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
