Job summary

WPP Media is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our global team in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure. You will transform complex business requirements into reliable, scalable data assets while collaborating with analytics, product, and engineering teams.

You will work with cloud technologies (GCP) and tooling like BigQuery, DBT, and Snowflake, ensuring data quality and availability for analytics and reporting across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with production pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills and data transformation experience.
• Hands-on with cloud data platforms (GCP) incl. BigQuery/Cloud Storage.
• Experience with DBT for modular data models.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to define data requirements.
• Develop and test data transformation logic using SQL and DBT.
• Maintain data quality, governance, and documentation.
• Monitor data pipeline performance and optimize for cost and speed.
• Support data consumers via APIs and BI tools like Power BI.
