We are seeking a Senior Level Data Engineer with extensive experience in SQL to join a dynamic scale-up Fintech company on an initial 6-month contract. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and support the growth of the Data team.

The Opportunity:

This position is within the Data Warehouse team, responsible for developing and maintaining a SQL Data Warehouse that contains key data for banking payment platforms. The Data Engineer will also develop and support ETL processes, monitor performance, optimize efficiencies, and produce 'POC' reports.

Key Duties:

• Develop automated solutions to support business operations using the Microsoft SQL Server suite of products.
• Utilize the Microsoft Power Suite (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query) to automate data acquisition and reduce manual processes.
• Transform and prepare data for analytical and visualization models using data engineering techniques.
• Document and maintain procedures for ETL processes.
• Analyze data to understand performance trends over time.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
