I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading e-commerce company in Newry that is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a business that thrives on data-driven decision-making and cutting-edge technology.

The Role:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is collected, stored, and processed efficiently, enabling valuable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
2. Develop and maintain data models and databases.
3. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
4. Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
5. Collaborate with analysts and engineers to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Skills & Experience:

1. Strong experience with Python, SQL, or Scala.
2. Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
3. Experience with cloud data solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
4. Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
5. Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
