Job summary

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is recruiting for a SAS Developer within the Debt Management Logistics Team (Data Engineering and Analytics). You will deliver system components connecting the debt management system with transactional systems and enable front-line teams to perform debt collection effectively.

You will design architectures, work with SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Viya, Data Integration Studio and GIT Lab, and translate business requirements into technical designs while maintaining quality

Qualifications

• This role requires a 2:1 or higher in a highly numerate degree, with Maths/Physics/Engineering components.
• Prior SAS experience is advantageous but not required as training is provided.
• Ability to translate technical data for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver system components that connect the debt management system with transactional systems.
• Develop architecture and designs for development, testing and delivery.
• Produce documentation and provide assurances on delivery.
• Create data-driven products for analysis and visualisation to inform performance.
