Job summary

Dains is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data Team in Birmingham to develop, operate and evolve the Group's Data Platform. You will integrate new data sources into DataCube, build data pipelines and support cloud architecture growth.

The role covers acquisition integrations, system implementations and platform enhancements to support reporting, analytics, automation and AI. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential and experience with Azure data technologies is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Data Engineer role with ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong data integration practices and data lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting production data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of new data sources into the DataCube platform.
• Develop, maintain and optimise data pipelines across the data platform.
• Monitor daily operation and ensure data refreshes meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders on requirements.
• Design scalable data models and transformation frameworks.
