Job summary

IVC Evidensia UK is seeking a Data Engineer to advance our Databricks-based data platform and deliver scalable data pipelines across Azure SQL Server. You will work closely with SMEs and the Data Architect to shape our data management strategy and meet business needs.

Ideal candidates bring deep experience with Databricks, PySpark, Azure ecosystems, and ELT pipeline development, with an emphasis on data modelling and effective collaboration across IT and business teams.

Qualifications

Experience with building and optimising data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
Strong knowledge of Azure data services including storage, ETL/ELT, and DevOps practices.
Hands-on experience with data modelling for relational and non-relational platforms.
Familiarity with Power BI for business intelligence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines across Databricks and Azure SQL Server.
Collaborate with SMEs and the Data Architect to translate requirements into data solutions.
Owns the data pipeline lifecycle from source systems to the group data platform.
Ensure secure, scalable, and well-documented data processing processes.
