This is your chance to help my client build their new Data Infrastructure and leverage the power of data, working on large-scale data processing systems.

They have an award-winning, enterprise-scale SaaS platform that has revolutionized its industry and is used by some of the biggest companies and brand names globally. They have grown rapidly and made a significant impact in their market, with hundreds of clients and millions of users worldwide.

The platform was built from scratch several years ago, using the latest technology stack and enterprise tools within a true Microservices environment. Data is at the core of their operations, and with an ambitious roadmap, they are looking for a senior data engineer to join their team.

You will take ownership of data modeling and engineering across the business, requiring a robust infrastructure background and an understanding of the complexities involved in system migrations.

Technical Skills Needed:

1. Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar), especially within Snowflake
2. Experience with streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
3. Proficiency with Apache Airflow from a cloud perspective
4. Good AWS exposure
5. Strong data warehousing concepts and best practices
6. Ability to write solid SQL queries within Snowflake
7. Understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT processes
8. Familiarity with agile methodologies, Scrum, continuous integration, and deployment
