What to Expect

Join our Manufacturing Excellence division as a Data Engineer! You will be involved in various data engineering activities within the Manufacturing function, creating industrialized data assets to support analytical products. These data assets will adhere to JLR Data Engineering standards to ensure data is robust, trusted, and accurate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake data engineering activities to create industrialized data assets for the Manufacturing function
  • Implement data engineering for industrialization and technological deployment
  • Resolve product issues as needed and escalate when necessary
  • Perform data modeling for data assets
  • Contribute to digital solutions and data assets in the cloud
What You’ll Need
Essential:
  • Strong working knowledge of Python (or similar programming languages)
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, including joins, CTEs, UDFs, and stored procedures
  • Previous experience in Data Analysis and Architecture within Manufacturing
  • Experience in architecting small to medium-sized data products and data pipelines
  • Knowledge of cloud data management platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and data management tools (SDS, MS Excel/Access)
