We are hiring a Data Engineer to join our growing team.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Translating business requirements into technical specifications for data solutions, including integrations, transformations, warehousing, and reporting.
2. Designing and implementing data ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources.
3. Implementing data governance policies to ensure high data quality.
4. Maintaining documentation related to data processes and quality.
5. Participating in code reviews.
6. Creating unit tests for automation.
7. Balancing pragmatic solutions with best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in data engineering, data science, or related field with a 2:1 or higher.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proven experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Data Lake).
• Database skills (MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Skills in data visualization (Power BI).
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Understanding of ETL development and data modeling.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Practical experience via placement or internship.
• Azure certifications (DP-900, AZ-900).
