Job summary

Maxwell Bond is seeking a Data Engineer to help build and scale an AWS-based data platform for a growing financial services client.

You will design data pipelines in Python and SQL, work with S3, Glue, Lambda and Redshift, and own infrastructure and data models.

Fully remote within the UK, with the opportunity to shape a new data team and contribute to data quality and reporting.

Data Engineer | Python, SQL & AWS | Up to £80k | Fully Remote

Fancy being part of a new data team, with the opportunity to help build and shape the platform from day one?

I'm working with a growing financial services business looking for a Data Engineer to help develop its AWS data platform.

What you'll be doing:

• Building data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Working with AWS, including S3, Glue, Lambda and Redshift.
• Integrating data from internal systems and external sources.
• Automating reporting and improving data quality.
• Taking ownership of infrastructure, pipelines and data models.

What they're looking for:

• Strong Python and SQL experience.
• Experience building production data pipelines.
• Hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse, ideally Redshift.

The package:

• Up to £80,000.
• Fully remote within the UK.
• Opportunity to help shape a growing data team.
• Financial services experience isn't essential.
