At Thomas, we're redefining how teams connect and collaborate. Our AI-driven platform, Thomas Connect, delivers deep behavioural insights that help teams work smarter, not harder.

We're looking for a Data Engineer to help us build scalable, high-performance applications that transform the modern workplace. If you're excited about solving complex problems, working with cutting-edge tech, and driving innovation in a fast-paced SaaS environment, read on.

Is this the right role for you?

If you're passionate about building scalable data infrastructure and turning raw data into meaningful insights, this role could be a great fit. You'll enjoy working here if you thrive on designing reliable data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and ensuring data is accurate, secure, and accessible. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business needs, and play a key role in enabling data-driven decisions across the organisation.

You'll also take the lead in promoting best practices in data governance and quality, while empowering others through training and clear communication. If you enjoy solving problems, improving how data is used, and helping others make better decisions-we'd love to hear from you.

What will you do?
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure.
  • Integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources into data lakes and warehouses.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance through strong governance and validation frameworks.
  • Manage and optimise data warehouses, lakes, and databases to support analytics and business intelligence.
  • Develop automated dashboards and visualisations to deliver real-time insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve data issues to improve accessibility, accuracy, and usability.
  • Educate and support teams in leveraging data effectively, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align data strategy with business objectives.
Requirements

What we're looking for?
  • 2-3+ years experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Database Administration.
  • Prior experience working with business intelligence, analytics, or machine learning teams.
  • Experience in cloud-native data solutions and real-time data processing.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL (for ETL & data transformation).
  • Knowledge of GDPR, data security best practices, and access control policies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to optimise data processes.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
