Job summary

Pearson Carter is seeking a Data Engineer for a hybrid contract in Reading. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure data pipelines using cloud technologies within a governed, Agile environment.

You will work on ETL/ELT processes, data modelling, and datasets for analytics, with SC clearance and Inside IR35, open DOE.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years' experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Analytics, or a similar technical role.
• Good understanding of data engineering principles, data lifecycle management, and relational databases.
• Experience using SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support enterprise data pipelines and integration solutions across multiple data sources.

You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable data pipelines and platforms Working within a collaborative Agile team, you'll deliver robust data engineering solutions using modern cloud technologies while ensuring compliance with security and governance standards.
