Join our dynamic Commercial Data Team as a Data Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines into our data lake. In this position, you will ensure scalability while supporting multiple business use cases, ultimately delivering significant value to our organization. What you'll be doing:
  1. Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines for various data types and sources.
  2. Perform data engineering tasks to meet business demands, refining technical features as needed.
  3. Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  4. Implement and enforce best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
  5. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to prepare data for analytics, machine learning, and reporting.
  6. Automate data processes to reduce manual interventions and improve efficiency.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines to minimize operational disruptions.
  8. Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and fostering collaboration.
