What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting a 4-year discovery and proof-of-concept project for business intelligence/data warehouse, with phased re-prioritization. Assisting CPS in understanding technology options, developing an end-to-end proof-of-concept, and transitioning to a fully productionised system using agile teams.

Skills & Experience:

Azure Data Factory (ADF)

• Create incremental dimensions to optimize processing and reduce costs.
• Enhance security by switching authentication methods to managed identity or service principal.
• Implement parallelism in ADF pipelines.
• Template pipeline elements for ingesting new datasets.

Azure SQL

• Integrate database access with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Implement STAR schemas and establish naming conventions.
• Transition data processing from Power BI to Azure SQL.
• Segregate data into multiple schemas or views, apply data masking and pseudonymisation techniques.
