Job summary

BlackTide Partners in London is seeking a Data Engineer to lead the evolution of the company’s data architecture, collaborating with senior leadership to shape long-term data strategy and enable data-driven decisions.

You will build scalable data pipelines, design data models, and mentor engineers while contributing to a high-performance engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred), with experience in Java, Scala, or TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based big data tools (AWS, Spark, EMR, Lambda, etc.).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Passion for supporting SMEs through innovative, data-led technology.
• Background in top-tier financial or analytics-driven companies is a plus.
