Position Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer with 3-5 years of experience building and maintaining data pipelines. You will develop solutions that extract, process, and transform internal and external data into reliable, usable datasets for analysis and other downstream applications. This is an engineering-focused role requiring strong coding skills, database knowledge, and experience working with modern cloud data technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
  • Extract, clean, transform, and model data from internal and external sources.
  • Develop data solutions using Python and SQL.
  • Work with large-scale datasets and cloud-based data infrastructure.
  • Support data consumers, including analysts, data scientists, and product teams.
  • Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of hands-on data engineering experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience with at least one cloud data warehouse, such as BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, ClickHouse, Greenplum, or Vertica.
  • Familiarity with an orchestration tool such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or Flyte.
  • Cloud platform experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Strong database knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Superset, or Metabase.
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts such as dimensional modeling or Data Vault.
  • Experience with Spark, Databricks, or Apache Beam.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Open-source contributions or other technical projects demonstrating hands-on engineering skills.
Why Join Us?
  • Small team energy, big company support-backed by BGBx and Kx
  • High-impact work, early responsibility-you'll contribute from day one
  • A learning-first culture-mentorship, peer support, and space to grow
  • A genuinely fun, curious environment-we take the work seriously, not ourselves
  • Strategy meets creativity-where insight, brand, and behavior collide
  • A future-facing mission-everything we do aims to improve lives

If you're ready to bring curiosity, strategy, and creativity together to reimagine healthcare-and make a real difference to people's lives, let's talk.
