You'll have:

• Experience in designing and deploying production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a big data architecture, using Java, Python, Scala, Spark, SQL. Tasks include scripting, data extraction via APIs, and SQL querying. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data engineering components into production systems. Knowledge of data cleaning, wrangling, visualization, and reporting, with an understanding of efficient tool usage. Ability to travel to client sites may be required.
• Experience processing large structured and unstructured data sets, integrating data from multiple sources through ingestion and curation on AWS cloud using native or custom programming. Knowledge of data mining, machine learning, and natural language processing is advantageous. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum ceremonies, and working within cross-functional teams.

You’ll be comfortable designing and building on AWS cloud, with experience in architectures including PaaS, serverless, and container technologies.

Qualifications

We seek a Data Engineer experienced in AWS cloud technologies for ETL pipeline, data warehouse, data lake design/building, and data movement. Experience with tools like EMR, Glue, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB (or open-source equivalents) is preferred. You will define the end-to-end software development lifecycle aligned with AWS best practices, spanning data engineering, data science, and product development, with knowledge of stream and batch processing.

Our current hybrid working model involves at least two days in the office weekly.
