Job summary

Net2Source Inc. is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our Data Solutions team in Basildon, UK. You will design and implement end-to-end data integration and transformation solutions on Snowflake, with a focus on DBT and modern ETL/ELT practices.

The role is onsite, permanent, and requires 7 years of experience in a fast-paced enterprise environment, strong SQL skills, and hands-on DBT experience. Collaboration with analytics and platform teams will be essential to deliver reliable data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data engineering or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in data engineering roles within large-enterprise environments.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on DBT experience (Core/Cloud) or similar ETL tools.
• Experience with data modeling concepts (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault) and ETL/ELT design.
• Familiarity with AWS data stack components (S3, Glue) and Spark/Iceberg is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Perform data mapping from source systems to Snowflake structures.
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models and marts.
• Develop and validate DBT models following best practices.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and documentation; collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Warehouse Modeler and Engineer DBT Snowflake to join the Data Solutions domain in EMEA
• As a key contributor you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data integration and transformation solutions on Snowflake
• This role combines ETLELT design data mapping data modelling and hands-on data engineering using DBT.

Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science data engineering or a related technical field
• 7 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced enterprise scale environment
• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with DBT Core or Cloud or any other traditional ETL Tools ODI Informatica Talend
• SQL data modelling Kimball Inmon Data Vault concepts ETL ELT design and data mapping
• Data quality governance and performance optimization
• A solid understanding of end-to-end data ingestion and transformation processes

Key Responsibilities
