Job summary

Burson, part of WPP, is seeking a Social & Content Strategist (Account Director) to join the London office. You will work within a global social media team for a leading technology client and support other key accounts, creating social-first content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and X.

You will develop social strategies that connect audience behaviour with brand objectives and collaborate with creative teams, account leaders, and clients to guide campaigns across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop data‑driven social media and digital engagement strategies by conducting reputational analysis, trend forecasting, and audience mapping.
• Lead and optimise strategic social platform planning for campaigns and always-on engagement initiatives, defining channel-specific content ecosystems and targeting.
• Translate performance data and stakeholder sentiment into actionable strategic recommendations for creative development and campaign optimisation.
• Present complex strategic frameworks and insights to internal stakeholders and external clients, securing buy-in with clear communication.
• Monitor evolving social media trends to identify opportunities and keep Burson ahead of the curve.
