Qualifications

• Possesses analysis skills built on a degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience applying analysis to real-world problems.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, Power BI and Excel.
• Ability to understand complex information and apply analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Monitor railway-wide risk using data to help decision makers identify issues.
• Extract actionable insights from accident reports and operational feedback.
• Create data-driven narratives via dashboards, presentations or reports.
• Develop and update sections of the Safety Risk Model quantifying railway risk.
• Review data quality and support improvements across datasets.
• Engage with industry members to understand health and safety problems.
• Collaborate with RSSB teams to maintain key products and services.
