Job summary

HMGCC is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for on‑site work at Hanslope Park. The role supports 37 hours weekly (Mon–Fri) or part‑time with a minimum of 28 hours, offering flexible or compressed hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in baselining and leading the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of process principles and methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) in manufacturing contexts.
• Experience with CoSHH and Health and Safety considerations in chemical/manufacturing environments.
• Experience writing, reviewing and maintaining technical process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, specifications).

Responsibilities

• Baseline current processes and lead data‑driven improvement projects.
• Analyse process performance to identify root causes of variation and implement sustainable improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimise process chemistry and equipment performance.
• Contribute to project planning, reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead investigations of process-related defects using structured problem solving.
• Document changes to ensure traceability and repeatability.
