Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or demonstrable equivalent experience in data analytics, information management, or a related field.
• Advanced skills in data modeling, dashboard development, report design, and automated data visualization.
• Hands-on experience creating automated workflows, data transfers, and reporting processes using Power Automate.
• Proven track record of analyzing large, complex datasets to identify trends and support service improvement.
• Demonstrated ability translating business requirements into technical solutions for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong project management, delivery, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical activity across large, varied datasets using statistical methods to provide robust evidence and support reporting.
• Design, build, and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards and visualisations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build and implement automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline data collection and reporting pipelines.
• Conduct needs assessments, evaluations, forecasting, and KPI development to measure service effectiveness.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues while protecting sensitive data in compliance with governance guidelines.
• Collaborate with managers, council colleagues and external partners to gather requirements and present strategic recommendations.
