Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Financial Crime Analyst to support AML controls across the UK business, with Edinburgh or Glasgow as base. You will analyse large datasets to strengthen transaction monitoring, KYC strategies, and high‑risk customer controls, presenting findings to senior leaders.

You will work with stakeholders to identify risks, challenge existing rules, and develop data‑driven recommendations to strengthen the control environment, contributing to the bank's financial crime risk

Qualifications

• Experience using SAS or similar analytics tools; beginner coding acceptable.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for internal/external partners.
• Proficiency with Excel; analytical mindset with numerate work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AML/KYC controls and monitoring rules.
• Analyse large datasets to identify risks and inform remediation actions.
