Interim Consultant-to support the implementation of a new enterprise data warehouse

NSCG is supporting a leading financial services organisation undertaking a major transformation of its investment operations and data infrastructure.

As part of a wider programme, a new enterprise data warehouse is being established to support reporting, operational and investment data capabilities. We are seeking an experienced Investment Data specialist to act as the bridge between business stakeholders, reporting teams and technology functions.

The Role

You will work closely with performance measurement, client reporting and investment operations teams to define requirements, resolve testing issues and ensure the accuracy of critical investment data throughout programme delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Gathering and refining business requirements from downstream data consumers.
• Acting as the SME for investment and accounting data.
• Supporting testing activities and resolving data-related defects.
• Working with technology and IBOR teams to implement data and calculation changes.
• Supporting the introduction of new asset classes and products into reporting and operational processes.
• Ensuring the integrity of positions, transactions, holdings and lot-level data.

Required Experience

• Performance measurement, performance reporting or performance attribution experience.
• Fund accounting or investment accounting background.
• Strong understanding of investment data including positions, transactions and tax lots.
• Knowledge of fixed income, derivatives, OTC products and other asset classes.
• Experience working with IBOR platforms, investment data warehouses or large-scale transformation programmes.
• Ability to engage effectively with both business and technology stakeholders.
• 3 days per week onsite in London
