Job summary

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Plymouth-based business for a Business Analyst to join their Head Office team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and commercially minded individual with strong Python and SQL skills to play a key role in turning complex data into meaningful business insights.

You will develop and maintain data models, analyse large datasets and provide reporting to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience coding in Python.
• Strong SQL skills with data querying.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop existing Python models.
• Build new models in line with business requirements.
• Conduct statistical analysis and interpret results.
• Analyse large volumes of data from multiple sources.
• Produce reports and insights for management teams.
• Present findings clearly to stakeholders across the business.
• Investigate trends, issues and areas of concern.
• Support ongoing business analytics and performance monitoring.
