Job summary

Peaple Talent Ltd partnered with a leading UK engineering consultancy to grow its Digital team with Data Analysts who bring exposure to Data Science, ML and AI. You will apply Python, SQL and data visualisation to real-world challenges across engineering, energy and the built environment.

You will work with engineers, consultants and software teams to analyse complex datasets, generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making, while contributing to forecasting and AI

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience in data analysis, analytics or business intelligence.
• Experience with data visualisation and communicating insights to stakeholders.
• Understanding of statistics, with exposure to machine learning, predictive modelling or forecasting.
• An interest in AI and generative AI applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of good coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Analysing complex datasets using Python and SQL to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
• Building dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Power BI.
• Performing exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis and optimisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to apply Python, SQL and data visualisation to real-world challenges across engineering, energy and the built environment. You'll work alongside engineers, consultants and software teams to analyse complex datasets, generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making, while contributing to forecasting, statistical modelling and AI initiatives.
