Job summary

Axiom is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst in Belfast (on-site) to transform data into actionable insights. You will surface operational insights, ensure data assets are well-maintained, and publish dashboards used across teams to drive informed decisions.

Reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics, the role offers growth in a data-driven culture and requires 1–3 years in analytics with strong SQL and BI tool skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data-related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major BI tool (Tableau preferred, Power BI, Sisense or Qlik).
• Strong SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) for querying and data extraction.
• Familiarity with data cleaning and ETL concepts; Databricks or cloud platforms are a plus.
• Detail-oriented problem solver who owns tasks and shows eagerness to learn.
• Exposure to enterprise platforms like Salesforce, Workday, or Greenhouse is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and build reporting solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools.
• Support maintenance and monitoring of ETL jobs and data pipelines for reliable data delivery.
• Perform routine data QA audits and troubleshoot reporting issues; maintain data integrity.
• Document data definitions, lineage, and access policies for clear organizational knowledge.
• Work with software engineering and IT to understand data structures and implement BI solutions.
