Job description

Data Developer Team Lead

IntaPeople is working exclusively with a well-known Welsh-based educational sector client who, due to internal growth, requires an experienced data-focused developer to join their digital and data function. You will be responsible for leading the data team and implementing new and existing data solutions used by a range of internal and external stakeholders.

As part of the wider organisation's digital function, you will collaborate with other developers and the solutions delivery team to ensure the delivery of company-wide data software projects is prioritized.

With this being a large organisation, their technology estate is fairly broad, but we are looking to speak with candidates who have skills in areas such as:

Technical skills:

  • Database technologies such as MySQL, NoSQL, and Postgres
  • Data Analysis
  • Data modelling
  • Data Warehousing
  • PowerBI and Tableau

Having knowledge or experience with development technologies such as Python, R, JavaScript, and cloud services would be highly desirable.

Working with the wider team, you will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining Data governance standards and best practices which the organisation adheres to. Mentoring and coaching your team members to ensure their professional development is prioritized, monitored across the team's SLAs.

What you’ll get in return:

  • A progressive starting salary of between £46,100 - £49,250 depending on your experience
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays and Christmas & New Year closure
  • True flexible working hours between 7:00 am > 7:00 pm (across 36.5 hours per week)
