Job description

An exciting opportunity to work as a Data Controller for our client, a manufacturer of sandwiches, wraps, and salads.

Staffline is recruiting for Data Controller in Avonmouth.

Annual salary: £30,000 - £35,000.

This is a full-time role with fixed shifts:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Temp role up to 3 months.

Your Role at Work

Reporting to the Project Operations Manager, the Data Controller manages and analyses key business data across manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and managing data reports related to production, inventory, and business performance.
  • Developing and updating Excel reports, PivotTables, and dashboards for real-time insights.
  • Assisting with Power BI dashboard development for trend analysis and performance monitoring.
  • Learning and applying SQL skills to extract and manipulate data.
  • Automating data processes to improve reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborating with teams across production, planning, and finance to ensure data reliability.
  • Ensuring data handling compliance with standards and regulations, including allergen traceability.
  • Supporting the integration of BarTender Print Station for automated label generation.
  • Generating reports to support decision-making, operational improvements, and compliance.
Ideal Candidate

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, formulas, data manipulation).
